BOLKIAH GARRISON, Wednesday, 04 June 2025 – Colonel Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Acting Joint Force Commander received a courtesy call from Captain Gökhan Gülbiten, Republic of Türkiye Military Attache accredited to Brunei Darussalam.
During the call, both sides have expressed the warm and friendly diplomatic relations between the two countries. Notable mentions in the call includes cooperation of both Armed Forces in enhancing mutual understanding and friendship. Republic of Türkiye is one of the partner nations for the Independent Decommissioning Body (IDB) in the Republic of the Philippines in which Brunei Darussalam is also a part of, in efforts to amplify peace and security in this region.
Captain Gökhan Gülbiten is the Republic of Türkiye Military Attache based in the Republic of the Philippines and accredited to Brunei Darussalam since 7 October 2024.

BOLKIAH GARISON, Rabu, 04 Jun 2025 – Kolonel Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Pemangku Pemerintah Angkatan Bersama telah menerima kunjungan hormat daripada Kepten Gökhan Gülbiten, Atase Tentera Republik Türkiye yang diakreditasi ke Negara Brunei Darussalam.
Semasa kunjungan tersebut, kedua-dua pihak telah menyatakan hubungan diplomatik dua hala yang baik di antara kedua negara. Antara perkara yang dibincangkan termasuk kerjasama kedua angkatan tentera negara dalam meningkatkan persefahaman dan persahabatan. Republik Türkiye merupakan salah satu negara rakan kongsi bagi Independent Decommissioning Body (IDB) di Republik Filipina, di mana Negara Brunei Darussalam juga adalah sebahagian daripada IDB dalam usaha memperkukuhkan keamanan dan keselamatan di rantau ini.
Kepten Gökhan Gülbiten adalah Atase Tentera Republik Türkiye yang menetap di Republik Filipina dan diakreditasi ke Negara Brunei Darussalam sejak 7 Oktober 2024.
